AS WE GROW?!highlights student actors ages 7-17 in their 2011 showcase. Students wrote 95% of the material in this original work that ponders creativity, play, technology, and social networking.Performances take place at the Acadiana Center for the Arts on January 28 at 7:30 pm and January 29at 2 pm and 7:30 pm.

Acting Up (in Acadiana) is the professional, resident, theatre company at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. What unites us as collaborators is our belief in ensemble driven work where every production is bigger than any individual artist involved and is ultimately meant to connect with an audience. Our teaching philosophy is training and process based with public performance as one aspect of that training.
