Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation Healthcare Initiative
The mission of the Louisiana Cultural Economy Healthcare Initiative (LCEF-HI) is to provide affordable, accessible, primary and preventative healthcare services to cultural workers across Louisiana. Cultural worker areas include music, film, design, literary, historic preservation, culinary arts, performing arts, visual arts and crafts. Acadiana Film Festival
A young and thriving organization, AFF receives start-up resources from the AcA such as administrative support. AFF is currently producing an annual media festival, providing impulses to the budding film industry in Acadiana. Louisiana Folk Roots
A partner with shared staff and office space at the AcA, LFR is a successful, independent organization providing workshops and archiving of traditional Louisiana music and culture. Shared resources benefit both of our organizations. ActingUp in Acadiana
Our resident theater group, Acting Up gives performances of both classic plays and cutting edge works throughout the year. During the Summer Youth Shakespeare Ensemble, young area thespians study, stage and perform a complete Shakespeare play in two weeks.
