GULF BREW 2012 VOLUNTEERS
As with any
festival, Gulf Brew could not exist without the support of our volunteers. The
AcA depends on our volunteers as a part of our team to make Gulf Brew an
enjoyable beer enthusiast event. Your dedication year after year is the only
way the AcA is able to bring Acadiana the best brews the Gulf South has to
offer.

LOCATION & DATES
Gulf Brew 2012 will be held at Parc
International in Downtown Lafayette on Saturday, July 21 from 6-9 p.m. There are
volunteer shifts available both before and after the event, as well.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
All volunteers must be at least 21 years of age or older. IDs will be checked
upon arrival.
VOLUNTEER BENEFITS
As a Gulf Brew volunteer you receive a FREE official
Gulf Brew t-shirt, and FREE ticket!!!! You will be required to wear your volunteer t-shirt so
that we can identify you as an official volunteer.
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
All volunteers will need to attend an orientation session, dates July 17 and 18 beginning at 5:30.
CHECK-IN
You will need to check in at least 30
minutes prior to your shift start time. You will be notified of the location of
the Volunteer Check-In Area before the event.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main duty as a volunteer, next to
your assigned area, is to offer assistance and information to our guests and
brewers. Please be courteous and helpful to all participants. Offer any special
assistance to those with needs.
ON-DUTY RULES
We expect that you adhere to our policy of
tasting beer conservatively while representing Gulf Brew to the public. If the
thought of remaining sober during your shift bums you out, volunteering is not
for you. If greeting, helping and being a beer enthusiasts does seems like something you
want to do, then you're in the right place. We want friendly, fun loving and dedicated
volunteers!
