This year, artists are asked to submit works which adhere to the theme Our Point in Space. The jurors from Luminous Lookout have created this framework as a point of departure for artists which provides a wide variety of interpretations.\nOur Point in Space\nThis theme invites artists to explore their place in the world—personally, regionally, or globally. How do we define where we stand, physically or metaphorically? Through structure, narrative, abstraction, or representation, artists are encouraged to examine their connection to space, identity, and the forces that shape their sense of belonging.\nPresenting SponsorJones Walker, LLP\nHost CommitteeChuck BoudreauxKiki FrayardTracy and Bryan FrentzDr. Mary B. Using representational imagery, their work visualizes narratives to inspire social dialogue and critique. Teetering moral ambiguities, existential repetitions, and anthropomorphic allegories are shared threads woven throughout all the artists’ work.\n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]\n
