Porter is a choreographer, director, producer, creative entrepreneur, and arts educator whose work lives at the intersection of movement, culture, storytelling, and community. With more than a decade of experience in the arts and education, she has built a multifaceted career creating and producing culturally rooted artistic experiences while developing the next generation of artists.Leigha is the Founder and Artistic Director of FE Conservatory, Executive Director of Heritage Parc, founder of Parc Village, and co-creator and director of The Creole Nutcracker. Her experience spans choreography, creative direction, producing, arts education, program development, mentorship, cultural preservation, and arts administration.
