Message from the Executive Director
“I am pleased to announce two new hires in AcA’s Development team, Nancy Surosky and Meagan Mod,” says AcA Executive Director Samuel Oliver. “They bring new energy and drive to the fundraising and donor relations that AcA must conduct to support our wide-ranging programs that foster art and culture in Acadiana. Nancy and Meagan are planning a huge new year for the patrons of AcA, and there’s never been a better time to join as a member or sponsor.”
Nancy Surosky joins the AcA as it’s new Development Director. Nancy comes to AcA most recently from nine years as the Special Assistant to the Baltimore County Executive in the Office of Community Engagement. There, she served as the Executive’s Liaison to the Baltimore County Commission For Women and helped initiate the formation of a Human Trafficking Work Group. Prior to that, she spent 20 years in advertising and sales, focused on integrated marketing partnerships and business development. In her new position, she leads AcA’s annual fundraising efforts and is focused principally on developing partnerships with sponsors and providing world-class service to AcA’s supporters.
Meagan Mod joins the AcA as its new Development Coordinator. Meagan brings a wide level of experience in fundraising, event planning and marketing, and client services to the AcA’s fundraising team. Her role aims to inspire and engage AcA members and supporters of the arts.
