The Acadiana Creative Relief Fund (ACRF) will award grants of up to $300 to individual artists who live in Acadiana (Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion), whose creative practices and incomes are being adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We realize that with events of all types being cancelled to reduce spread of COVID-19, artists who make income partially or fully through gigs and freelance work are losing critical opportunities to support their well-being in our region.
If you have specific questions, please submit them to Paige Krause at Paige@AcadianaCenterfortheArts.org
For additional COVID-19 Resources for Individual Artists please visit AcA Creative Relief page here
Individuals and businesses can donate to the Acadiana Creative Relief Fund by check to 101 W. Vermilion Street, Lafayette, LA 70501 placing “CREATIVE RELIEF” in the memo line or by making an online payment through AcA’s secure donation platform here
The application will open on Monday, April 6, 2020 and close on Tuesday, April 21. Contingent upon availability of additional funds this program may be extended to provide Round II. Please note that reviewing the applications by following the grant deadlines will take the AcA time, as well as, determining the awards to applicants, and have payments processed. Payments will be expedited as soon as possible while maintaining AcA’s high standards for financial reporting.
Applicants will be required to submit a completed W9 to AcA.
