Acadiana Creative Relief Fund

Acadiana Creative Relief Fund

The Acadiana Creative Relief Fund (ACRF) will award grants of up to $300 to individual artists who live in Acadiana (Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion), whose creative practices and incomes are being adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We realize that with events of all types being cancelled to reduce spread of COVID-19, artists who make income partially or fully through gigs and freelance work are losing critical opportunities to support their well-being in our region.

  • The artist/applicant must be 21 years of age or older
  • The artist/applicant must be a resident of Acadiana (Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, or Vermilion Parishes) and work within the following recognized arts disciplines; dance, design, folklife, literature, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts & crafts
  • The artist/applicant must not be a current board member, honorary committee member, major funder, staff member, or immediate family member of such a person of the Acadiana Center for the Arts
  • The artist/applicant cannot apply on behalf of any organization, collective, company, band, group, and/or ensemble
  • The artist/applicant is not eligible to apply if they have or will be receiving funding from LOST MY GIG FUND and/or any other AcA Creative Relief funding source
  • The artist/applicant is not eligible to apply for Round II if they have received funds from Round I from this Creative Relief Fund
