Lafayette Consolidated Government Arts & Culture Funding Program 2021-2022 Guidelines and Applications are now available.
Upcoming funding period: November 1, 2021 – October 5, 2022
Application Deadline: August 20, 2021 by 4:00pm
Applications must be hand delivered to: Acadiana Center for the Arts, Community Development Department, 101 West Vermilion St. Lafayette, Louisiana 70501
This Lafayette Consolidated Government sponsored, Acadiana Center for the Arts administered, Arts and Culture Funding Program is designed to support arts projects and the operations of arts and culture organizations that will significantly enhance the arts and cultural life of the community, while promoting local artists and the arts in Lafayette Parish.
Eligible applicants are non-profit arts and culture organizations based in Lafayette Parish, whose purpose is to develop, promote, encourage, and/or present arts and culture to the public.
An organization may submit one application for each of these two categories, Project Grant and Operations Grant:
PROJECT ASSISTANCE GRANT:
Provides funding for a wide variety of arts projects and programs, from these recognized arts disciplines, that meet specific community needs.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT GRANT:
Provides funding for operating expenses, such as salaries, supplies, and utilities, of arts organizations with 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. Up to 25% of the previous year’s annual operating revenues and no more than $5,000.

It is highly recommended that all applicants participate, as there may be new procedures and processes associated with this grants program.
