The purpose of this grant is to provide relief directly to individual Louisiana artists impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic or other natural disasters that affected our state in 2020. The Louisiana Division of the Arts (LDOA) is partnering with 9 Regional Arts Councils throughout the state, including the Acadiana Center for the Arts, to administer grant awards in amounts up to $1,500 each. Please read the guidelines below and access the link to LDOA’s online application through Submittable to begin your application.
Applications will be accepted starting Monday, March 29, 2021 and the deadline to apply will be Friday, April 16, 2021 by 12 midnight.

All applicants selected for funding must provide one of the following identification and proof of residency as well as a completed W-9 in order to receive payment.

Note on Taxable Income
If you are awarded funds from this program, you will receive a 1099 FORM from Acadiana Center for the Arts, as we are required by law to report grant awards to the IRS.
Income you receive from this program is taxable; however, expenses from your grant can be deductible. Click here to go to the IRS page and bullet 2(c) may be of assistance to handling individual grants. If you have any further question, we recommend you contact a tax consultant.
