Elevating the arts with inclusion and diversity is a workshop presented by Broadway veteran Joshua Castille. He is a Deaf actor who is gaining recognition in the theatre and film world for his work with elevating scripts. Using his experience as a deaf person, he has developed techniques to add layers to characters. He has found success in a Broadway run of Deaf West's Spring Awakening, as well as 5th Avenue's production of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. However, in a world of storytelling, Joshua has found a voice has been missing; the voice of disabilities and other minorities. In this workshop, he will introduce: "ARTIVISM".
Through discussions and hands on activities, Joshua will focus on building relationships to broaden your audiences and community through authentic inclusion and collaboration.
