A panel discussion of Black artists and community leaders discussing how to celebrate and support BIPOC creatives in our community.
On the occasion of the exhibition Eugene James Martin: Heterochronic Collages, Acadiana Center for the Arts hosts a panel discussion moderated by musician, community organizer, and artist Erica Fox.
Drawing from her experiences as owner of the BIPOC arts and creative goods collective Attakapas Collective, Fox leads an all-star panel of speakers in a conversation centered on ways in which local community members can support and celebrate BIPOC artists.
Funding for the 2021 Rebirth grants has been administered by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH) and provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and the NEH Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP) initiative.
