Gulf Brew 2022

Saturday, October 22, 2022

Celebrating the craft of beer at the best time of year!

This Fall Gulf Brew returns to Downtown Lafayette as a street festival along Jefferson & Vermilion Streets.

Acadiana Center for the Arts presents Gulf Brew, Louisiana’s oldest craft beer festival, an outdoor street festival along Jefferson Street Downtown Lafayette on October 22, 2022.

Ticket holders will enjoy sampling more than 200 beers from craft breweries across the county while strolling along four pedestrian-only blocks of Jefferson Street in Downtown Lafayette between Juliet Hotel and La Carreta Restaurant. The event is one of the few occasions where all of Louisiana’s craft breweries and brewpubs showcase their newest beers in one place. Tickets are available online or at walk-up.

Gulf Brew features beer tap trucks, music stages, and crafts booths scattered along the route, with the main stage located in front of the Acadiana Center for the Arts.

Gulf Brew is a fundraiser for the Acadiana Center for the Arts, which presents performances and art exhibitions year-round in Downtown Lafayette as well as serving as the arts council for the eight-parish region. AcA brings art education to more than 77 public schools across Acadiana.

There are many ways YOU can be a part of Gulf Brew:

  • Sign on as a sponsor! You’ll get great perks and brand visibility with Ac/\s audience of more than 10,000 patrons and event attendees.
  • Want to get a message to the participants of Gulf Brew? Place an ad in the Brew Book, the day-of guide to the event, with more than 3,000 printed and digital copies distributed.
  • Are you a Downtown restaurant or bar? Join us as a Designated Driver Experience (DDE) stop by providing a specialty nonalcoholic beverage to DDE participants. DDE participants will have a punch card to present for service to avoid duplicate trips to your establishment. Mocktails and unique sips are highly encouraged!
  • All Downtown restaurants and bars are encouraged (and should be prepared) to provide food and beverage service during the duration of Gulf Brew. In 2021, Gulf Brew saw well over 3,000 attendees throughout downtown. Gulf Brew does NOT bring food vendors to the streets to compete with existing businesses, other than select speciality vendors. Window or street-front service is highly recommended.

Reminder to bring your driver’s license – we are scanning every single ID

Current members of the Louisiana Crafts Guild are automatically approved and can secure a booth by purchasing one using the blue button below.
