ArtSpark 2018 Exhibit

About

ArtSpark is a collaboration with Acadiana Center for the Arts and Lafayette Economic Development Authority. An Individual Artist Funding Program offering assistance to emerging, mid-career, and mature artists for specific, short-term projects that have a clear benefit to the artist and the development of his/her work. It is our hope that these investments in individual artists will result in substantial contributions to the culture of Acadiana, the vibrancy of our communities and to art itself.

Acadiana Center for the Arts

Acadiana Center for the Arts (AcA) is a publicly supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are the central cultural hub of Acadiana, an eight-parish region comprised of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion Parishes. From our origins as an arts council established in 1975, we have transformed into one of the largest arts organizations in Louisiana. AcA’s public facility is in the heart of downtown Lafayette featuring an intimate theater, large museum-quality galleries, as well as workshop, rehearsal, and office spaces.
