There is substantial public parking in Downtown Lafayette, including paid street parking and garage parking. Both street meters and the garage accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards.
Parking rates are $1 per hour or $5 for a day. Pre-payment is required along with a license plate number at the parking kiosk. Parking without paying is a $35 fine.
Street parking is pay-by-meter 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and free after 5pm and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Drop Off and Ride Share Services:
AcA has a passenger drop off area in front of our doors at 101 W. Vermilion St. Ride share services will pick up and drop off here as well.
AcA hosts museum tours and group arts activities for tour groups and school groups. Contact us for availability and booking.

All of our galleries are free to the public during our hours. All ticket prices are reflected on our website.
All tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your event, you are able to donate the value of your tickets to Acadiana Center for the Arts. You may donate your ticket(s) up until 2 hours prior to show time.
It is rare for a performance at Acadiana Center for the Arts to be canceled due to inclement weather, but in the case that a show is canceled, we will post information on our social media and will make every effort to contact all affected ticket holders.
Acadiana Center for the Arts is the only authorized ticket seller for events at AcA. Please be aware that event tickets purchased from a source other than the aforementioned may be counterfeit and in such cases may not be honored for admission. Acadiana Center for the Arts is not responsible for third party resell tickets. Tickets for AcA events can be purchased online or in-person at the Acadiana Center for the Arts Box Office.
For Heymann Center hosted events, the only authorized ticket seller will be ticketmaster.com or the Heymann Center box office.
Don’t worry! If you lose your tickets, visit the box office in person and they can reprint your tickets once for no fee.
We attempt to begin all performances on time as indicated on your ticket. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager, based on the specifications of the performance company.
Many events at Acadiana Center for the Arts are specifically designed for families and we encourage you to enjoy these events with your children. Children UNDER two years of age and seated on a parent’s lap may enter the theater without a ticket. Children two years and older must have a ticket to attend any event.
For events not specifically geared for young audiences, parents are asked to use discretion when bringing children. If children are disruptive to other patrons during a performance, parents may be asked to leave the theater with their child.
Some shows may contain mature content, language or themes. As a parent, you are the only person qualified to determine what is appropriate for your child. To help you make an informed decision, we encourage you to seek additional information. If you still have questions, email us and we’ll try to help.

More than a presenting organization, AcA is a venue space for all of your event needs. Located in the heart of downtown Lafayette, our world-class architecture and professional event services, we are suited to a host a wide range of events. From five-star weddings to professional symposia, we are equipped to provide the best event service to meet your needs.
The AcA’s Atrium and Café Seating area is a beautiful, open space with marble floors, grand staircase, and glass front, offering a picturesque setting for any event. The space is perfect for wedding receptions, office parties, company events, and more.
The Board Room is the perfect place to hold your meeting or workshop. Our board room has smart-board capabilities as well as a high-quality projection system.
The ArtHouse is a high-ceiling, sunlit room centrally located on the Second Floor. The ArtHouse boasts over 1,300 square feet of meeting or performance space.
The James Devin Moncus Theater is a re-configurable space able to accommodate every type of event, from conferences, to weddings and private events, to performances. With adaptable seating, this room can transform completely from an open room with 6,000 square feet of flat floor to proscenium, thrust, black box, or theater-in-the-round. The space boasts cutting-edge acoustics, perfect for multi-purpose functionality.
The Moss Loft is a glass room that overlooks downtown Lafayette’s Vermilion Street. Connected to the Mallia Gallery, an open gallery space featuring a rotation of local artwork, this space is perfect for meetings and small receptions.
