Located in the heart of Downtown Lafayette at the intersection of West Vermilion Street and Jefferson Street. 

Directions from I-10 / I-49:
Coming from I-10 or I-49, take the HWY 90 Evangeline Throughway south to Jefferson Street and take a right. Follow Jefferson St to W. Vermilion St. AcA is located at the corner of Jefferson St. and W. Vermilion St. and fronts on W. Vermilion St.

Directions from HWY 90 / Future I-49 Corridor:
Coming from

There is substantial public parking in Downtown Lafayette, including paid street parking and garage parking. Both street meters and the garage accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards.

Garage Parking:
Parking rates are $1 per hour or $5 for a day. Pre-payment is required along with a license plate number at the parking kiosk. Parking without paying is a $35 fine.

Street Parking:
Street parking is pay-by-meter 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and free after 5pm and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Drop Off and Ride Share Services:
AcA has a passenger drop off area in front of our doors at 101 W. Vermilion St. Ride share services will pick up and drop off here as well.

School and tour groups

AcA hosts museum tours and group arts activities for tour groups and school groups. Contact us for availability and booking.

All of our galleries are free to the public during our hours. All ticket prices are reflected on our website. 

All tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your event, you are able to donate the value of your tickets to Acadiana Center for the Arts. You may donate your ticket(s) up until 2 hours prior to show time.

It is rare for a performance at Acadiana Center for the Arts to be canceled due to inclement weather, but in the case that a show is canceled, we will post information on our social media and will make every effort to contact all affected ticket holders.

Acadiana Center for the Arts is the only authorized ticket seller for events at AcA. Please be aware that event tickets purchased from a source other than the aforementioned may be counterfeit and in such cases may not be honored for admission. Acadiana Center for the Arts is not responsible for third party resell tickets. Tickets for AcA events can be purchased online or in-person at the Acadiana Center for the Arts Box Office.

For Heymann Center hosted events, the only authorized ticket seller will be or the Heymann Center box office.

Don’t worry! If you lose your tickets, visit the box office in person and they can reprint your tickets once for no fee.

We attempt to begin all performances on time as indicated on your ticket. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager, based on the specifications of the performance company.

Many events at Acadiana Center for the Arts are specifically designed for families and we encourage you to enjoy these events with your children. Children UNDER two years of age and seated on a parent’s lap may enter the theater without a ticket. Children two years and older must have a ticket to attend any event.

For events not specifically geared for young audiences, parents are asked to use discretion when bringing children. If children are disruptive to other patrons during a performance, parents may be asked to leave the theater with their child.

Some shows may contain mature content, language or themes. As a parent, you are the only person qualified to determine what is appropriate for your child.
