Louisiana Scoring aims to connect Louisiana musicians to the worldwide entertainment industry by providing high quality orchestral music to film, television, and video games.
With a state-of-the-art recording space, top-end audio equipment, highly skilled audio engineers and a professional orchestra, the Louisiana Scoring studio provides the total package for composers looking to record their scores.
Recordings take place in Acadiana Center for the Arts’ James Devin Moncus Theater – a sound proof, modular, multi-purpose venue designed for top-tier acoustics.
Apply to become a Louisiana Scoring Musician
To be eligible for the Louisiana Scoring program, musicians must have professional orchestral experience.
In addition, the program places a strong emphasis on sight reading, requiring exceptional skills in pattern recognition, intonation, and precise ensemble playing under tight time constraints.
