LCG Arts & Culture Operations Grant
This Lafayette Consolidated Government sponsored, Acadiana Center for the Arts administered, Arts and Culture Funding Program is designed to support the operations of arts and culture organizations that will significantly enhance the arts and cultural life of the community, while promoting local artists and the arts in Lafayette Parish.
Provides funding for operating expenses, such as salaries, contractors, supplies, and utilities, of arts organizations with 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.
Important Dates:
Applications Open: July 27, 2026
Draft Review Deadline: August 18, 2026 via email to community@acadianacenterforthearts.org
Application Deadline: September 1, 2026, submitted via the online form by 5:00pm
Notification Date: Mid to late October 2026
Funding Cycle: November 1, 2026 to October 5, 2027
Eligible Applicants:
Eligible applicants are non-profit arts and culture organizations based in Lafayette Parish, whose purpose is to develop, promote, encourage, and/or present arts and culture to the public.

Draft Review Service:
A draft of your application may be submitted for review in advance of the deadline, but no later than Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
HOW TO SUBMIT DRAFT ONLY:
- Save a draft of your submission.
- Email link to draft to Community@AcadianaCenterfortheArts.org with the subject line “Draft Review Request + Your Organization’s Name”. You will be contacted to schedule a time for feedback.
Become a Grant Panelist
We’re always on the look out for members of our community to serve on application review panels that assist in determining the outcomes for our arts grant funding programs.
WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for people who have a keen interest across artistic disciplines. Disciplines range from visual art, performing arts to fashion and literary arts, etc. As someone who is interested in the arts, this could mean that you are an artist yourself (all levels) or someone who appreciates art.
We’re looking for people who can evaluate an application to determine it meets all requirements outlined in the provided guidelines.
We’re looking for people who can see the benefit of a project or organization and what it provides to the individual artist and/or broader community.
If you’re an artist, we encourage you to participate as a panel member, as this is a good way to see how other applicants interpret the requirements of an application and exactly how the panel discussions are determined.
