Poetry Out Loud | Regional Competition

We’d like to invite you to attend the regional competition for Poetry Out Loud at 10am on January 11th! In Poetry Out Loud, high school students select, memorize, and recite poems from an approved anthology, honing their interpretation, public speaking, and performance skills in a competitive setting. At this event, local high schoolers will be reciting their poems for the chance to move on to the state and potentially even the national level. This event is open to the public – come support these talented local students!
