President’s Circle Reception | Ceramics Now

Please join Acadiana Center for the Arts for a reception and private view of its next main gallery exhibition Ceramics Now: Contemporary and Traditional Practices in Acadiana —a group exhibition featuring artworks from local and regional artists.

Ceramics Now artworks have been chosen by the following jury of ceramists: Susan Chiquelin, Burnell Lemoine, Bruce Odell, and Chris Pate.

Attendees at this exclusive event will get a private viewing of the exhibition, and will have an opportunity to meet and toast the artists from the exhibit. The exhibition’s Curator will be on hand for personal tours through the evening.

Complimentary beverages and entertainment will be provided.

Ceramics Now: Contemporary and Traditional Practices in Acadiana

Main Gallery Exhibition, June 8, 2024 – August 10, 2024

This exhibition will look at the scope of ceramics being made in Acadiana today. From the functional and traditional forms we are most familiar with, to the purely visual and Avante-garde. Acadiana Center for the Arts will host a showcase of ceramic artworks chosen by a jury of artists and practitioners in this region’s community of ceramic craft.
