Who’s That Playing My Box Film Screening

Who’s That Playing My Box? is a documentary film nearly 5 years in the making highlighting the life and legacy of beloved Louisiana Creole musician Joe Hall.

This evening will feature the premiere screening of the film, followed by a performance and panel discussion with Hall’s longtime friends and collaborators Cedric Watson and Forest Huval, moderated by folklorist Barry Ancelet.

One year after Hall’s passing, the event will honor the enduring impact he made on his community, and his work to preserve the Creole musical heritage of his family and South Louisiana.
