Dr. Andy Horowitz is a historian and the author of Katrina: A History, 1915–2015
(Harvard University Press, 2020). Katrina: A History won the Bancroft Prize in
History, which is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the field,
and was named the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities’ Book of the Year.
