St. Landry Parish Student Arts Expo

RAIN PLAN ACTIVATED! Due to the weather outlook for this weekend, we have activated our Rain Plan for St. Landry Parish Student Arts Expo! The schedule will remain the same, but all activities will be moved inside to Opelousas Senior High School (1014 Judson Walsh Drive, Opelousas). Check below for the updated locations!

Join us for the third year of Student Arts Expo in St. Landry Parish – a free and family-friendly festival of student artwork, live performances, and fun arts activities!

With 2 stages and multiple exhibition locations surrounding the Courthouse Square, Student Arts Expo is a true community event.

The event brings over 1,000 individuals to downtown Opelousas and showcases artwork and performances by more than 500 students from pre-K to 12th grade.

The event features many day-long street activities, Art in Action live painting demonstrations, hands-on art Activities for All, and the Student Artist Market.

Student Arts Expo in Opelousas is a partnership between Acadiana Center for the Arts and St Landry Parish School Board with support from Opelousas Main Street, Opelousas Downtown Development District and St. Landry Parish Tourism.

St. Landry Student Arts Expo is sponsored by St. Landry Parish Government, The City of Opelousas, Opelousas Downtown Development District, Quest Pediatric Dentistry, Party Central, Hancock Whitney, Opelousas Main Street, & Thistlewood Foundation.
