Let Culture Lead

LIVE

LIVE

OUR CULTURE by engaging in art, music, and community

The AcA brings together audiences from across the region to be enriched by artwork and performances from many genres and styles of exceptional quality, but the organization lacks the resources needed to truly elevate local artists and to produce productions that rival the major metropolitan areas of the South.

In this pathway, the AcA aims to become a powerhouse of diverse performing and visual arts, elevating the stature of Lafayette and Louisiana through world-class artistic endeavors.

We envision Lafayette as a welcoming beacon and hub for people who care about creativity and culture in the South.

In a time where everything everywhere is becoming homogenous, it’s more important than ever to engage in the things that define where we live.

We have to support originality. We have to support uniqueness. We have to support our creative community.

Seek out art. Seek out music. Seek out the places and events that give our home soul.

          — Katie Culbert, owner of Wild Child Wines and Kiki

With transformational support, your investment will launch and expand key projects that present high-profile performing and visual arts:

MUSIC PERFORMANCE FUND

Supporting world class performing arts, serving as a community gathering space where people come together and share “the night of their lives.”

EXHIBITION FUND

Supporting visual arts exhibitions that draw national critical attention and local popular attention to the vernacular arts of Louisiana.

ART & TECHNOLOGY FUND

Supporting art that uses new media, recording technology, experimental techniques, and creative approaches to engage new audiences and take creative risks.

Pathway Goal: $3 Million

It takes a flock.

Let Culture Lead is an initiative that benefits from AcA’s long-standing strategic partners, without which this work would not be possible.
