Arts in Education

Ensuring equitable access to the arts

Our vision is for creativity, art, and self-expression to be integral to every child’s life in Acadiana.

Community Development

Enhancing the cultural life of the community and promoting local artists

We are the central, organizing and convening hub of arts and culture in Acadiana. AcA’s professional staff serve to support artists, musicians, creatives, and cultural organizations across the region.

Visual Arts

Serves thousands of patrons each year through more than 20 exhibitions and 6,000 square feet of world-class galleries

Our Visual Arts department actively seeks out new regional artists as well as showcases leading professionals in the global arts community. The AcA’s exhibitions are also the primary anchor of Lafayette’s monthly ArtWalk and impacts over 20,000 patrons directly.

Performing Arts

Elevated performing arts experiences

These programs put money into the local arts community and engage new audiences year-round.
