Lauralee “Laurie” Becker was born and raised in Acadiana where she has been creating art and teaching for the last 26 years. She is experienced in teaching grades 1-8, private lessons locally to children and adults along with hosting and assisting summer camps. Laurie earned her degree at USL in 1996 in Elementary Education and furthered her learning by achieving an Art Certification Grades K-12 from UL in 2018 with honors.
She officially started her art business in 2020. Her work includes drawings, paintings, and ceramics. Laurie is currently a Teaching Artist at LeBlanc Elementary School. She is passionate about providing a safe, enriching, creative space for kids where they are allowed to express themselves and most of all have fun!
