Continuing her passion for movement, Madison went on to major in dance at UL Lafayette, receiving a BFA of Performing Arts, Dance in 2020.

During her time at UL, she performed annually in State of La Danse and An Evening of Dance including works by choreographers Ronald K. Brown and Eric Rivera and as a soloist in Les Sylphides. She debuted her own choreographic work in An Evening of Dance in 2019. She also attended the American College Dance Association Southern Conference for 4 years, performing in adjudicated concerts for 3. Most recently, Madison performed in Paige Barnett’s A Song of Visions in Washington, LA, and José Limon’s A Choreographic Offering in State of La Danse. Madison is also passionate about teaching when she isn’t dancing herself.

She taught while at UL and attended the Summer Dance Institute for Teachers with Anne Green Gilbert. She currently teaches at studios in Lafayette, Youngsville, Crowley, and New Iberia and is a PACE teaching artist at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. Madison is looking forward to more creative, collaborative performance opportunities in the future.
